Guy is a Registered General Nurse in 1999, with a passion for care of the elderly and delivering dementia care. He qualified and has worked in a variety of areas of nursing in the NHS in Scotland before moving to Guernsey in 2001.
He worked at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital then taking on the management role at Highfield House Care Home. Guy is passionate about ensuring the residents are receiving a high quality service and feeling completely at home. Delivering a high standard of dementia care, working together with the residents, team and families is one his core principles and importantly, that the residents are supported to live their lives to the full.

Deputy Manager, Lollie McLean joined us in 2017 and has proved herself to be a valuable team member and an exceptional Registered Nurse. We were delighted when she finally applied for her well-deserved promotion, having waited until the time was right for her and her family.
She has earned the full support and respect of her co-workers, peers and importantly, our clients and their families.
Lollie is a passionate advocate of Teepa Snow, a renowned dementia care specialist, whom she credits as a source of inspiration. Her “positive approach to care” deeply motivates Lollie to champion excellence in best practice in supporting individuals living with dementia.
