Accommodation

Homely rooms suit resident's needs

Residents’ rooms are comfortable and homely. We encourage residents to bring personal items - such as furniture, ornaments and photos - as this ensures his or her room feels cosy and familiar. One resident even has a computer set up in his room. There are telephone points in every room and rails are strategically fitted.

Every bedroom has an en-suite.

Each resident also has access to a secure, lockable drawer for personal items or medication, and there is a lock on the door of each room for further peace of mind.

Residents are more than welcome to rearrange their room. We also advise on any health, safety or mobility concerns, e.g. height-adjustable (or profile) beds for residents who require nursing care.

There is a photograph of each resident on the outside of their door as this helps them familiarise themselves with where their room is in our home.

Most rooms at our care home are single rooms, however there are two shared rooms, each with a portable screen to ensure privacy, which allow couples to share.
